Are we not allowed to change the colors/etc. on the new paid user layouts or am I totally missing it somewhere? I like it, but I always seem to have to tweak things to what I like (for example, I hate that the text is white on the layout I'm using now and really, really want to change it). Help?

Expressive doesn't have many options, sadly. It comes from Vox (it's actually the theme I have on my Vox page), which isn't customizable at all - you have those themes to pick from. I really like this one, myself, except it takes forever to load and I don't like having my tags out for all the world to see, and my calendar doesn't work because I have a postdated Friends Only post in 2020.

Actually, if you can do CSS, you can do some tweaking to it in that "custom CSS" box, but I don't know CSS at all.

I can do CSS fine as long as I know what the style names are. I wonder if they have that somewhere...

There ya go. If you can get into the individual stylesheet and tweak it and make a custom style, it'll be all good.

did you see that you can take your page summary & tags off your page layout? I just figured it out today. if you go into edit your journal style, pick "custom options" tab, and then pick "sidebars"

i kept my tags but I took the page summary off.

I changed my layout too. I liked how the other layouts were more user friendly when it came to picking your own colors and stuff.
I'm not very smart when it comes to tweaking these things...I'm tweak stupid...or something.
