More Emotional

You have:
70% SCIENTIFIC INTUITION and
77% EMOTIONAL INTUITION
The graph on the right represents your place in Intuition 2-Space. As you can see, you scored well above average on emotional intuition and above average on scientific intuition.Your emotional intuition is stronger than your scientific intuition.

Your Emotional Intuition
score is a measure of how well you understand people, especially their
unspoken needs and sympathies. A high score score usually indicates
social grace and persuasiveness. A low score usually means you're good
at Quake.

Your Scientific Intuition
score tells you how in tune you are with the world around you; how well
you understand your physical and intellectual environment. People with
high scores here are apt to succeed in business and, of course, the
sciences.

I won't post my results because they put me in the upper-right of the "stupid" box. Le sigh.

So uh... I'm taking that GRE tomorrow. How's Iowa?

Oh god the GRE. It'll probably be at least another month before I try to do it. I did manage to find those practice tests, though. It's the math I'm going to have to study hardcore for, because I do not remember trig or geometry at ALL.

Iowa is...nice and cool. Jeremy's been complaining about it being almost 100 degrees there, and we're lucky to hit 75. :D

It's dawning on me that
a) this time tomorrow I'll be done with it
b) I'm not eager to shell out another $100+, so I gotta do it right
c) I should know where I want my scores to be sent

Crap crap crap! So uhh... I think you get 4 free scores, right? I'm thinking Maryland... and Penn State and NC State? And then a fourth? I don't know. Sheesh. I couldn't go to Maryland, right? I mean, then I would have been here FO'EVAH! On the opposite end, someone told me to look into Washington... but... West Coast? What's that?

Albany's good so I hear if you want to remain an east coaster. I think Columbia and Cornell have met programs too. But hmmm, where would I send mine? If I get four freebies, they'd probably be Iowa State, Maryland, Penn State, and....I suppose University of Minnesota, but it won't be meteorology. I may have to pay for more even. Geez, and then there's the cost of applying to all these schools. What the hell am I thinking?

I just did a big LJ post freakout.

What would you do at MN? And yeah, the cost of applications, not to mention tuition... aiee. But think of all the rewards! Like... uh... more school!

The University of Minnesota has a program called Water Resources Science, and I would be able to do a hydrology emphasis.

I was looking at UVA because it has an Environmental Sciences degree, and I could focus on Atmospheric Science... but I don't feel like it's really the way I want to go, even though I loved Charlottesville the one time I visited.

Can you have extra scores sent out once you've taken the exam if it occurs to you that you want to apply to somewhere that you didn't consider before?

Yes, but I think they cost $15 each.
