It could get up to 101 degrees today. Yeah....that's a heat index of around 115 when you have a dewpoint of 75 degrees. It's already up to 90 in some spots of the state, and that was at 10am. This reminds me of Oklahoma, and I HATED Oklahoma summers. It's supposed to be just as bad tomorrow, too. Kill me now.

it got to 101 degrees in gypsum, CO the other day. that's roughly 2 1/2 hours west of denver on i70. that was the first time in recorded history that it's hit triple digits there!

Yikes. It's pretty bad when even the mountains are hotter than hell (hell is the 100 degree mark for me).

i saw mrs. bishop today and she said her husband and her were going to go to CO for a few days to get away from the heat, but then she saw how hot it's been getting there!

one of my friends is working on a glacier near juneau, alaska for the summer and he says it's in the hundreds there!
