May. 21st, 2003 10:27 amI got this idea from myonevice, so here goes...
Of ones that I've actually seen, my top 25 films of all time:
(in no specific order)
1. Pulp Fiction
2. Girl, Interrupted
3. The Shawshank Redemption
4. The first Star Wars Trilogy (I'll count it as one)
5. The Matrix
6. American Beauty
7. Being John Malkovitch
8. Raising Arizona
9. Moulin Rouge
10. Grease
11. Labyrinth
12. Pleasantville
13. Boys Don't Cry
14. A League of Their Own
15. Natural Born Killers
16. Far and Away
17. Gattaca
18. Arsenic and Old Lace
19. Fight Club
20. Forrest Gump
21. Of Mice and Men (with Gary Sinise and John Malkovitch)
22. Bram Stoker's Dracula
23. The Professional
24. Princess Mononoke
25. Record of Lodoss Wars
In my own defense, I've never seen many MANY old movies, and I've never really had access to the indy scene. There are many that I plan to see in the future, but have not been able to do so. Therefore, this list is subject to change.
