mirajeUmkay, I just downloaded all the songs the Symphonic Band is playing off of Kazaa just to see what they sound like. Let me just get it out in the open right now...Persichetti's Symphony No. 6 (Symphony For Band) is a fucking nightmare to play. Download it if you don't believe me. It's not so much the notes that get to me. It's counting through the rests in the damn song. The tempo's constantly changing, the time signature constantly changes to sigs I've never played before, and the percussion plays a completely nonsensical part that throws me off. Argghh, I do like a challenge, but this is madness.
