For some stupid and guilt-tripping reason, I was adding up how much I have cost our insurance company in the last three years that I directly or indirectly caused.

$66,000 - House Fire
$3,800 - First Car Accident
$2,000 - Hail Damage
$1,000 - Dad's Car Accident (he was coming to get me)
$5,000 - Second Car Accident
--------
$77,800 - Total

In THREE YEARS. Just throw me in one of those padded rooms with a nice straight jacket and feed me pumpkin pie. I'll never hurt anyone or anyTHING ever again.

WHEEEE! I just found a buyer for my Anthropology books, so that's an extra 50 bucks for Christmas! You gotta admit, it's a hell of a lot better than the 1.25 they would have given me at the bookstore. Wow, that eases up the burden a LOT.

Oh wow. You know, I've been doing excellent with money all semester, carefully budgeting myself to an allowance of 80 bucks a week. I kept with it, too, because I have 93 dollars left in my account. However, with all this careful planning, I forgot about Christmas. FUCK ME. I need 40 bucks just for the gas to get home, so that leaves me with 50 to buy gifts for four friends, one parent, two stepparents, one sister, and one roommate. HELP! Ideas appreciated!!!

Those money hungry wolves want $45.00 for the Final Fantasy VIII music soundtrack. I know it's four discs, but that's still a hell of a lot of money! So, for my sister's Christmas present, she will get the burned version...minus a few songs that either no one has or are only owned by people with really shitty bandwidth. I can't imagine not having this computer right now. It's a lifesaver.

The deadline on my big-ass term paper has been extended from Friday to Monday!!! That gives me the weekend! WHEEEE!!!

If I ask for an acoustic guitar for Christmas, someone will have to direct me to the bestest website to learn how to play it. How much do those things usually run?

Everyone go get your money out of your purse or wallet and go to The Where's George website. You enter in the serial numbers on your dollar bills and the website tracks them as they go across the country. It's fun and addicting at the same time.

That's my entertainment for the moment anyway...

I've had one hell of a week. First my cell phone dies on me, forcing me to call my dad collect to figure out what to do. That's my only link to life outside of Ames. It's kind of vital that I have it. Then my car breaks down on me at a Gumby's Pizza restaurant and then AGAIN at the hair salon (I got my hair cut by the way). I ended up spending 60 bucks on a new battery, some jumper cables, and a tool kit. Way to be unprepared, Heather.

Now my roommate is sleeping in our room at 7 pm on a FRIDAY NIGHT, so I can't be in my own room.

I am going to a dance party tonight, so hopefully it'll turn out to be a happy end to this week.
