Feb. 28th, 2004 09:54 amOh wow, this was a dream to write about.
I'm at my grandparents' house, and in the dream, their house is sitting right up against a huge composite volcano (that's the really big one that makes the big explosions). This in itself is odd, because in real life, this house is located in western Kansas. The closest composite volcano to them is probably in Washington. Anywho, they live near one for the sake of this dream. The volcano is due to erupt, and instead of us getting AWAY from it like intelligent people, we decide to stay at the house and ride it out. So, the time comes when it erupts. I saw it, so I ran inside to scream at everyone to get in the basement. Again, this is a what the fuck moment. We get in the basement and crouch down in a little corner of a room with no windows and wait. After awhile, I hear glass breaking and whatnot from the pyroclastic cloud taking the house away...or at least reducing it to splinters. It somehow leaves the basement intact, but that's par for the course in this dream. Here's where it gets totally stupid. A TORNADO spins out of the ash cloud and picks up the house. Alright, folks, for one thing, tornados don't form out of ash clouds. For another thing, the house was already destroyed by the pyroclastic cloud, and it's kind of hard to pick up a basement. Nevertheless, we were flying through the air. It continued to drop us and pick us up again a couple more times, and that point, I woke up.
Any analysis websites I tried didn't really make a sense to me at all, so I think it's just one of those dreams that come from your brain trying to organize everything that you've seen or experienced recently. Why do I say that? Well, we're learning about composite volcanos and techtonic plates in my geology class, and I've talked about tornados in pretty heavy amounts for two different things this week. My grandparents, though? Couldn't tell ya.

Feb. 28th, 2004 11:40 amOh my God. I scanned my computer with Ad-Aware to clean out the spyware, and it found 8 files and registry keys to delete. Sure, ok, those are the normal ones that keep reappearing on my computer. Then I updated Ad-Aware and scanned again......
134 files and registry keys found. Holy fuck.
What's the lesson learned boys and girls? UPDATE THE SHIT ON YOUR COMPUTER.
