Very eeenteresting. Regular unleaded here was $2.54 this morning (wow, cheap!), so I filled up. You all should too before that thing gets anywhere near the Gulf.

It will be interesting to see what Ernesto does over the next couple of days. You can bet with a forecast track like that there are people in Louisiana and Mississippi thinking "Oh, shit."

My throat is sore. I better not be getting sick.

Heh. I was mostly being snarky based on those reports of "hmm, interesting how this thing took a sharp turn right before it hit land... weather-control device much?"

Yeah, I remember the conspiracy theory mumbles about Russians steering hurricanes around. I don't know why people were thinking the Russians were doing it, though. The Cold War is kind of um...over?
