If you were in an online photo contest, and the theme for the week was "Wide Open Spaces," would you submit:

Picture A?

or

Picture B?

Decisions, decisions...

Edit: Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a horizon straight when you're dealing with a locale as flat and horizontal as Kansas? Neither of those horizons are straight now that I look at them. I should have used a tripod. Eh well.

My vote is B. The first one is definitely more open, but I like that the road seemingly leads to nowhere, and the addition of just a little bit of greenery breaking up the wide open space in B.

I think I like the second better.

Maybe my color balance is off, but B looks muddy to me. (Well, duh, there's mud, but still.) I love the top one because of the sky and the way everything is positioned.

I'm gonna deviate from the norm and go with A.

I like A better as well. I like the colours of the sky and the air-y-ness of it - it seems a lot more 'wide open' to me.

even if the crooked horizon is a tiny bit more obvious in A, i still like the frozen colours of A better, so sue me. :)

Yeah, me too.

Plus, the horizon isn't perfectly straight in reality.

I agree, picture B.
This reminds me of a time me and Jamie were driving back from Hays, last time I was home I think. We decided to take the back roads home instead of being like every other normal person and just driving on the highway. So we stopped in the middle of the road and got out to take pictures. I love how pretty Kansas is.

I think A is more wide open. There is a lot of "space" it seems in A. B focuses on the road going to horizon, doesn't feel as wide open.
