I'm in the Freshman Honors Program here at Iowa State, and they have us go in groups of about 10 to seminars with two former members for social bonding and such. I decided at the end of last semester that while it was a hell of a lot of fun, I didn't feel right interviewing to be a leader because my GPA wouldn't be high enough to stay in the honors program. The head honcho guy talked me into it despite my good reason, so I interviewed anyway. I was completely honest with them, too. I told them that I didn't want to do it initially and had to get coaxed into it, but still thought that it would be fun. Let's just say I wasn't a ball of enthusiasm with my 18 credit semester already lined up and my doubts about my GPA.
Well, guess what? I GOT IN. I fucking made it! Er, they must have appreciated my honesty.
Wait...HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO SURVIVE A 20 CREDIT SEMESTER????
